About NWCDMA
NWCDMA is initiated by the Department of Mathematics, Jadavpur University in 2014. It aims
to provide a platform to discuss the state of the arts of discrete mathematics and its
applications. It is planned to include two academic programmes: (1) a workshop on graph theory and
graph algorithms; and (2) a conference on discrete mathematics and its applications.
The main objective of the workshop is to explore the major techniques and challenges of graph
theory and graph algorithms. The workshop will be beneficial to the students, research scholars of
our country.
The conference will unfold various applications of discrete mathematics in cryptology, computer science, biological sciences, and social sciences. It may motivate the researchers to contribute the society with real applications. In the conference, leading personalities of our country and researchers will give talks and read papers. The participants will be exposed to major works in the following topics: discrete mathematics, cryptography, cryptanalysis, rigidity theory, graphs and networks theory in real applications of social sciences, biological sciences, sensor networks, computer and communication systems.
