NWCDMA 2014: National Workshop and Conference
on Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (NWCDMA 2014)

Department of Mathematics
Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India

10-14 March 2014

Call for Papers

NWCDMA is a national forum for researchers in the area of discrete mathematics and its applications in real world. It encourages interdisciplinary research works among discrete mathematics, computer science, communication systems, security issues and biological sciences, and their applications in real life applications. Research in discrete mathematics is now at a crucial point in its evolution, marked by the importance of several dynamic systems in computer science, communication  systems, security systems, biological sciences, social sciences such as cryptography, cryptanalysis, rigidity theory, graphs and networks theory.

Scope of paper submission

The conference particularly encourages the submissions spanning these areas. It provides a wide spectrum of topics in discrete mathematics and its applications, covered in the following areas but not limited to:

Important Dates

Paper submission for presentation

Papers must be prepared using the LaTeX-2e article style and be electronically submitted, in PDF format, to NWCDMA2014 [Click here]. For any problem in submission, contact through the email address: nwcdma2014@math.jdvu.ac.in. Two types of papers can be submitted: regular papers and poster papers. Submissions for regular papers should be no longer than 6 pages (including the title, authors, abstract, figures, and references) in A4 paper double column style with 10 points font size; a submission may have an appendix of at most two pages beyond the 6 page limit. Poster papers are restricted to two pages using the same style, with no appendix. Submissions deviating from these guidelines will be rejected without review. If requested by the authors, a regular submission that is not selected for a regular presentation will also be considered for a brief announcement. This request must be clearly indicated in a cover letter along with the submitted paper. Such a request will not affect consideration of the paper for a regular paper. A paper submitted at this forum is expected to be original research not previously published as a regular paper. It may be noted that previously published papers may be considered for presentation but will be not be published in the proceedings. Note that one appearing as brief announcements/poster paper of other conferences is eligible. A submission may not be concurrently submitted to another conference, workshop, or journal.
